I was looking up the word movie at Longman On-line dictionary and I found this sentence : maybe we'll go to a movie. I've learnt that movie is the same as film and it is a countable noun, so it can take plural form movies and the movies is the same as cinema (movie Theather). But how about the Longman's example ? In some sentences I saw the word theather used as movies I supposed that is because there is the words Movie theather but how to distinguish between Teatro and Cinema ? |
