| Mensagem: | Let's rock... a)I would not like to have children "with" (?) a guy I do not consider my husband. *From my standpoint, you don't consider anyone to be your husband/wife. Someone is either your husband/wife or not. I'd put that way: "I would not like to have children with anyone other than my husband." b)I get sad to know that some elderly people live in nursing homes especially because their relatives take them for granted and treat them badly. As I know parents do their best to make their children happy, I take pity on people who end up in life ( ? )like that. *As far as I know you don't GET sad, instead, you ARE sad. Also you pity rather than TAKE pity, therefore: "I'm sad to know that many elderly people are left in nursing homes by their relatives. Since parents do their best to raise their children as comfortable as possible, sons and daughters should do the same for their parents. I pity the elderly who live in such conditions." c) She should change her values of life. *Sounds fine Cheers! Gabriel |
