Just a bit of humor on the danger of translation. Yeah, I know, you were actually looking up for an adverb not an adjective. LOL Have you heard a very old joke about the Brazilian sailor, sailing with a foreign crew, who hears someone knocking at his cabin door, runs to the dictionary, finds the first translation he can find for the word "entre" and says to the person knocking at his door "- Between!" |
