| Mensagem: | When I first read the question about "playing archery" I knew it didn't sound right. So, I went to a person who makes his living from archery. He owns an archery store and sells bows, arrows, targets, hunting clothes, rule books, etc. It is a very lucractive business. Schools buy his equipment for archery lessons. Hunters and hunting clubs buy his equipment for their camps and training courses. He told me "the word play is never used in conjuction with archery." Maybe in Pakistan, Thailand, India or another country where English is used they "play archery" but the sure don't do it in my neck of the woods. |
