this is the first time I have been in paris. I have been many times to Paris but today, for the first time (but today it is the first time) I hope to see the Eiffel tower. To pass the test and display knowledge of the distinguishing features in the english language , would I have to say: I have been hoping to see or I hope to have seen ? |
