Já ouvi em algumas músicas a expressão "Meet the eye". Pesquisei em alguns dicionários mas não encontrei seu significado.
Por favor, vocês poderiam me responder?

There is more than meets the eye.
Literalmente: há mais do que o olho vê.
Que tal : Há coelha nesse mato?
É o oposto de " É so para o Inglês (o gringo) ver.
( Adoro esta expressão, como surgiu, quem passa quem para tras ?)
O Gringo não exerga nada, mas :there is more than meets the eye
( of a gringo obviously)
