| Mensagem: | What are my "sources"? How about my parents, grandparents, and everyone else that I heard growing up, using "they" and "their" in situations of non-specific gender. That greatly pre-dates the feminist movement. My grandparents learned to speak in the 19teens. Do you really think that those words weren't used in that way until 20 or 30 years ago? |
