I've got a question for the ones who have learned/improved their English abroad.

Do you guys think 6 months living in the USA should be enough for an advanced student to get total fluency?

I know the usual, and by the way correct, answer is that it depends upon the student, but I really would like to get some actual figures. Therefore, I would appreciate it very much if you shared your experience with me. Was it enough in your case?
