Assunto:  Even though vs. In spite of
 
Mensagem:  In the following sentence: ______________ the idea behind the invention is realtively simple, it has become an enormous money-maker. The right alternative is EVEN THOUGH. I wonder why it can't be IN SPITE OF/DESPITE. If you, guys, could answer it , I'd appreciate it. If possible, tell me where I can find further information regarding this subject. Thank you Renato
