| Mensagem: | Dear Miguel, I think the major problem in accepting foreigners (non-Japanese descent) there in Japan is much to do with space. I have these numbers (their out-dated, from 1993, but they will serve to my objectives here): Japan, area: 377 815 Km2, population: 124 670 000, populational density: approximately 330 inhabitants per square kilometre Brazil, area: 8 511 965 Km2, population: 146 825 475, populational density: approximately 17 inhabitants per square kilometre. These numbers are quite old, for our population (Brazil) has increased to more than 170 millions, but they are enough to show that one of the problems they have in Japan is space and adding to it a recession that has been lasting for years, so with these internal problems how can they receive more people? For sure their racial superior attitude is within them, but by no means it is the only and determining reason. Another thing, they were very wise, knowing and learning very fast their lesson, doing their homework diligently, they received a very good contribution and aid from the US, for back that time if America didn't help them the Soviet Union would do it.
