Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it, you know if it weren't for people round here I very doubt I would have achieved half the stuff I know (and in my opinion what I know is still little.)
And indeed, my dictionary says that an alternative would be conceptualise but it still classifies it as formal usage, I guess I'll stick on conceive of which is new for me :)
