Assunto:  Third conditional problem
 
Mensagem:  I would use 'were'. I thought  that type of usage was called  'subjunctive', but I don't really know.  In truth, english lacks  most of these formal tenses.

Another way to say it: "In brasil, nobody would do that", etc.
