| Mensagem: | Actually, for a mere 8 months you've made a phenomenal progress, if indeed all you could say in the beginning is "how are you". When I was here for a mere 8 months, I don't think I was as fluent as you are. What you have to do in the next four months or so you have left is to immerse yourself as much as possible in native communication. When the time comes to leave, buy a book or two and take them with you. This way you'll at least retain the written skills you've acquired. Also, buying one of those speaking dictionaries wouldn't be a bad idea at all. You can get one at www.ectaco.com shipping free while you're here. Finally, you will always have this site to rely on. In addition people like me, Andre Oliveira, among others will always be here to help out. Good luck -Miguel Vieira |
