Hello Gabi, First of all, congratulations for your English, it´s really good considering you are in the US for only 8 months. The tip I´ll give you is to keep contact with teachers, native speakers, it can be through e-mail, chat, telephone (I recognize it´s expensive), but the best thing you can do is teach. Good luck!
