Sandra was right the correct is MAKE the bed: But The doubt continues : Why &"Yesterday I had my cleaning lady *MAKE* all beds in the house.&" is correct sentence? And not &"making&" or &"makes&".... _____________________________________________________________ This is a causative verb. Because of that you have the verb in a base form. Examples: I had my daughter clean the bedroom. She had her mother wash the dishes. If the object was in the middle, it could stay: I had the bedroom cleaned She had the dishes washed. In this case, the verb ends with ed form |
