I think that the "problem" is not hearing/speaking such contractions as they obey a non-written law of the least effort to achieve the best result, or, at least, an intended result. In my opinion, the issue is when we start writing the way we speak. People NEVER have written the way they speak, and written language seems to follow the path of speaking language (but always behind). Is it so? What do you think? Maria Valeska |
