Deivis, not coincidentally did my American friends at the other forum (brazzilforum) make a similar comment. As regards my brand of English, I have heard comments on the order of, but no quite exactly like, "sometimes we understand it, sometimes we don't." I can unreservedly establish a couple of comparisons at my own expense, though. You could hear me talking away desperately at subjects and raising issues with which I should not have dealt in the first place. Well, you could. So could anyone anyway. I could unabashedly compare myself to a headless chicken offering help on language matters better left for a certified teacher to discuss. Somebody, I always thought, planted a whole (tropical) forest of notions for which the trees grew too phucking fast for me to see. But, mind you, I too appreciate the way you write English. I gotta let you go. Go, man, go. |
