Thank you for bringing the subjunctive question up. The subjunctive constitutes a difficulty even for native speakers of Brazilian Portuguese. I have heard people say "quando você ver ele" when they meant "quando você vir..." (if you see him) instead; I have seen people write "se você manter" when they meant "se você mantiver" (if you keep). Can you tell us exactly what verb the subjunctive of which you find difficult? People'll gladly help you with it. |
