Hello Lika
When I first saw it, I did a little research on the subject (on the grounds that sometimes it could be dialectical variation) and it seems to me that the use of question/doubt is inherent to the language, one linguist I know (they're scottish) said it was spanglish (dunno if that's the right spelling) 'tengo dudas'.
