| Mensagem: | I think you are right Dale. People in Brazil are suspicious abut free stuff. For something to be good it must be pricey. When in Brazil my only chance to practice English was at the "English School" and some other few times when receiving foreigners at work. Very little. I never heard of any club that you could practice English. I'd probably attend it if I knew about them. In Brazil people value more having private classes -- when they afford it. By the way, following the link for "Growing Together" in Curitiba, I found that Joina Almeida received from the British Council the opportunity to take two of her students to England for one of those Exchange Studenst experiences . Being a public school teacher it is a great accomplishment for her, I think. |
