|Assunto:||Grammar in texts|
Let me give you a hint: instead of looking for texts which have a grammatical structure in focus, try choosing the ones whose theme/style/subject matter seems more interesting for your students to read. I'm sure you'll be able to exploit any interesting text (but the other way round is not necessarily true).
Never adapt the students to the task, but think of materials (authentic ones) that would please / be suitable for them. See?
Paraphrasing what Ricardo says... "English should not be thought of sth. that is the end (per se), but the means..."
What would your ESP students need to read in order to succeed in their majors/careers? What is their field of expertise? What would they naturally be reading in Portuguese?
Now google is your friend...
Think about it.
