I am with Marcio on this. To say something for the shock value
would be exactly what he means "to say something for shock´s sake." or
"dizer algo que choca para impressionar/só para causar sensação (sendo chocante)''. Well, this liking to many is one form to attract attention, but to others it can be understood as a morbid taste (depends on contexts, of course). See you around. PP. |
