Good stuff, PP. In addition, I would suggest, mingle with the crowd. Pay attention to street life, how does the corner hot dog vendor greet his or her customers, how do courteous neighbors go out of their way just to ask you how you fare, listen in on casual conversation of any type the more, the better, pick it up in the air or drop it altogether and then retake it or take it up where it went off etc. Me, I wish I had done all of that earlier in life. I will visit the U.S. some of these days, a wish that I have maintained for more than 30 years but never had the opportunity to implement. So long. Or short. |
