Recorte de jornal - cutting, clipping.
It seems that the good ole print papers have lend the term to their contemporary on-line media (TV, movies and all). Thus, I have seen clipping as a piece of news, an item taken from a larger broadcast. So, my best guess up to now is 'clipping', but let´s wait for more comments. Ah, cutting continues with its original meaning, when I have interest in some subject I take a cutting of a newspaper or magazine and keep it with me, my wife hates it. Since, my room gets more and more clustered.
