| Mensagem: | We call these "oriental eyes" and expect to find people from the orient and northern countries to have such eyes. A more common term used is "slant eyes" but this can be pejorative if used in the wrong manner. It's not just the Japanese, Chinese and other orientals whose eyes do not have epicanthic folds; there are others in the far north (Scandanavians, Enuit who used to be called Eskimos, Siberians) who have such eyes to protect them from snow and ice blindness. |
