What I often hear during conference call meetings is vendor, when referring to small businesses such as a literature publication company, however when they refer to our products (tractors) dealers, I have never seen they using vendors…now it is clear to me!
For the dealer and dealership (and using the information provided by the post written by PPAULO), I will consider using Dealer when making reference to the person who sells our products (as “concessionário”) and Dealership, when referring to the business he owns (as “a concessionária”).
If I am not correct, please correct me.
