Hello!!! Sometimes, when I am teaching English, some students come up with questions that I don't know how to answer. I mean, of course it does not happen frequentely, but sometimes there is always a question that you don't know. For example, one student asked me how to say "acerola" in English. How the hell am I gonna know?? I don't even use this word in Portuguese! So, my question is: How should I deal with that? Sometimes, if I don't know the answer I get disappointed on myself. Although, it is normal. We don't know everything. The problem is that students think we are a walking dictionary. I always carry a Dictionary with me! |
