So, she had her Iphone and she looked for the meaning during class, and she got the word "reamer", but according to what I read on your post, reamer would not be that kind of alargador that we wear on our ears, it has other names, that you posted! Well, like you said, I should've told her to do some research on it and bring me next time!! I did not think about it! Well, I have a friend of mine, who is also a teacher, and she said that one day, students started to make fun of her, because they were talking about juice flavors, and they came up with things like :"Teacher, gosto de suco de JACA, como que eh em ingles?" or "I like pitanga juice" "and I like carambola juice" they knew that she probably did not know these words, so they were just trying to make fun of her. She said she told them to bring all the meanings the following class! i already looked for all these words in case they ask me, hahah! Students can do this, to bring you down, or to test you, or something like that... Today a student asked me how to say "narina" in English, and this one I knew! hahaha! Well.. this one can be tricky too.. I kinda think he was testing me because the thing we were talking about had nothing to do with "nostrils"! |
