| Mensagem: | José Roberto, I'm glad to hear that!! I'm 61 and was feeling like I'm over the hill. It all started when I used the word "patota" in the forum and got a notice that it's been replaced with the word "turma" in recent years. Well, I guess talking with me is like going to see a movie in black and white.....my slang is out of date....in both languages. I don't have an Ipod or digital phone with text messaging so I'm not up to date on all of the short hand style writing that has evolved. I'm good at figuring out vanity license plates though. You know, license plates that people pay extra to have on their car....ones with words like AV8TOR (guy obviously flies airplanes) or BTLJUICE (on a fuscinha). Now I'm off to a Mexican restaurant for lunch, Tom |
