Thanks PPAULO. I think translating is a tough task because those who want or need a translation may have an overall familiarity with the source language, thus desiring to get an almost literal translation as the end result of the translation process. That's why I don't like to sit and translate materials. I might sound cynical ( which means pessimistic ) but a translator's job can be very ungrateful at times. I'd much rather translate something very technical than something very poetic. Cheers! |
