Search on google: "going to" "english grammar". You'll see a lot of (brazilian and non-brazilian) sites about the future with going to, such as: http://www.englishclub.com/grammar/verbs-m_going-to.htm. Perhaps the exact expression "immediate future" is not written in all books, but I sincerely think that it doesn't make any difference. Hope it helps. |
