I don't understand the context. Is a "boletim de estudante" a "report card"? If so, I believe they have boxes under the heading "grade" or "final grade". The professor would write in the boxes either letters (A, B, C, D, F - never an E) or possibly a number (5, 4, 3, 2, 1). If the class is given on a pass/fail basis, then I would expect to read either pass/fail or passed/failed. I agree with Fran in her assessment that the past tense is not necessary. I do not understand the need for "situation" or "status". Can someone make this clear to me? "I got a 'pass' in the dermatology class." "I got a 'fail' in the algebra class." Going back to context, I assume we are looking at a translation of something. Exactly what is it? |
